Haikyū!! (Japanese: ハイキュー!! Haikyū!!, literally meaning "Volleyball!!"), also stylized from the kanji (排球) and known as High Kyū!! or HQ!!, is an anime series based on Haruichi Furudate's manga of the same name. The first season, which consists of 25 episodes, was produced by I.G. Production and Toho Co., Ltd. (Toho Animation). It aired from April 6 to September 21, 2014. Both seasons of the anime have been licensed for digital and home video release by Sentai Filmworks[1].

The second season premiered on October 4, 2015[2] and finished on March 26, 2016. Like the first season, the second season consisted of 25 episodes[3].

The third season premiered on October 7, 2016[4] and concluded on December 9, 2016, consisting of only 10 episodes[5].

Shōyō Hinata, upon seeing a volleyball match, aims to become the next "Small Giant" and thus, joins his junior high volleyball club. After finding new members, they set out for the junior high school tournament, where they cross paths with a formidable school with the "King of the Upper Court", Tobio Kageyama. Although his team lost, Shōyō is still determined to aim for the top and exact revenge on Kageyama. Upon entering high school, he receives the biggest surprise; he and Kageyama are in the same high school volleyball club!
