The volleyball team has recently become a formidable opponent after the two meter tall Yūdai Hyakuzawa joined. Although the rest of the team lacks in offensive power, its defense is shown to be solid. It lost to Karasuno in its second match of the Spring High, but Coach Ukai anticipates that with Hyakuzawa, Kakugawa's strength will increase exponentially by the next tournament.
