"Lax" (Japanese: 楽 Raku) is the two hundred and seventeenth chapter of the Haikyū!! series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. It was published in the 36th-37th double issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump’s 2016 series.
Overview
Hinata is getting better at his job of being the ball boy. The players are preparing to do a 2 on 2 practice match to which everyone is dreading, but the one who is having the most trouble is Hyakuzawa. Although he may have the ideal height to play volleyball, due to the fact that he joined late into the sport he lacks skills that the other players have. In his moment of dread, Hyakuzawa tells Hinata that latter should have been invited to the camp instead of him. Hinata says that he's wrong and that they both should have been invited. Hinata enthusiastically gives him a pep talk on his height and how being two meters tall is the ultimate talent anyone can have. When asked why he was encouraging him even though they are rivals, Hinata answers that he wants to defeat Hyakuzawa at his best. The 2 on 2 drills continue and Hinata gives encouragement to Hyakuzawa on the sidelines as he uses the advice Hinata had given him earlier.
