Recently, there have been a major spike in vandalism and a lack of activity from the current admins due to schoolwork or just work in general. First of all, we apologize for this and would like to thank the contributors (especially BumblingBoo & RozzaPanda) for helping out with vandalism and other work on the wiki. Second, after the huge vandalism attack yesterday, the admins have decided that we need more help on our team. Thus, we would like to announce that one spot for an Administrator position will be opened for election. Candidate submissions will begin Monday February 22 at 12 AM ET and end on Monday March 7 11:59 PM ET. The dates for the official election have yet to be decided on.
For those unfamiliar with the election process on the wiki:
1) A thread is made for submissions. Any users who would like to enter will write their "speech" in the comment section or contact any of the administrators on their walls or through the Live!Chat.
2) After the thread is closed, a new one will be opened for voting. This one will list all the candidates and their "speeches". Voters will comment on it and describe their reasoning (this will be explained in the new thread).
If you have any questions about administrator work, please refer to this. We would like to add that all of the general rules for voting will be applied
Qualifications:
Nothing too fancy, just one very important thing we'll like to point out: you must be familiarized with the guidelines. You'll be an admin and will be enforcing them.
We would like to see that you:
1) are commited to the wiki by having contributed actively for at least a month. These edits have to be recent (from November to February).
2) have at least 10 edits on content pages (chapter, episode, character, music, etc). Edits on different accounts and edits to fix vandalism do not count.
A basic understanding of coding is recommended (along with familiarity with source editor), but not mandatory.
The wiki is in desperate need of more helpful and active administrators so if you meet these qualifications, please submit your "speech"!
Questions & Comments
In order to answer any comments or questions, the Wiki Team will be on chat at 9 PM (ET) on Thursday, February 25th. We would also be explaining the projects the admins are currently working on or discussing so any future admins could get an idea of admin work. Also, we would like to add that the date and/or time may be changed. If you can't make it on the the date and time listed, please notify us in your submission or on our walls so we can make arrangements.
